TEAM

Senior Leadership

edRISK’s senior leadership team is also at the helm of its three programs: edHEALTH, edLIABILITY, and edPROPERTY. Together with our member-owner schools and the boards of managers, Tracy and David ensure that member-owner schools’ insurance needs are met while saving them money and offering greater overall value―simultaneously strategically strengthening the edRISK captive.

A. Tracy Hassett

President and CEO

Tracy Hassett, SPHR, is the President and CEO of edRISK and its three cells or programs: edHEALTH, edLIABILITY, and edPROPERTY. Tracy has played an instrumental role in the creation of edHEALTH, joining with the Boston Consortium higher education finance executives who were looking for a solution to the escalating healthcare cost crisis, and is a driving force behind edRISK and its two newest cells, edLIABILITY and edPROPERTY.

Passionate about finding innovative ways to bend the healthcare cost curve, which edHEALTH has done for ten-plus years, Tracy has broadened the scope of what captive insurance can do in other lines of insurance to benefit educational institutions across the country. Tracy reports to the Boards of Directors and is responsible for the overall performance of edRISK and its three cells.

Before becoming the first president and CEO of edHEALTH in 2015, Tracy rose through the ranks in human resources at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), and after nine years of service, she was appointed as WPI’s first Vice President for Human Resources in 2007.

In 2024, Tracy completed two terms as chair of the Board of Directors of The Vermont Captive Insurance Association, the trade association that promotes the captive insurance industry in Vermont. She was also named one of Captive Review’s Top
20 captive owners in 2023 and 2024.

Tracy and her husband very much enjoy living along Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay with their two Labrador Retrievers. Whenever they can, they travel to see their three adult children and their families.

Jeannine Chiappini

Chief Strategy & Membership Officer

Jeannine Chiappini joins edHEALTH in January 2026 as our new Chief Strategy & Membership Officer. She has over 25 years of experience in employee benefits consulting and human resources, with deep expertise in group captives, self-funded health plans, and pharmacy benefit management.

She has led large consulting teams, crafted multi-year benefits strategies, and served as a trusted advisor to CFOs, CHROs, and school leadership.

Before joining edHEALTH, Jeannine worked on the executive leadership team at Borislow Insurance, which included being part of their captive program. Prior to that, she held management positions at OneDigital and NFP. She’s known for her ability to strengthen member relationships, drive retention, support growth, and create high-impact strategies that align financial stewardship with long-term organizational health. A passionate advocate for member engagement and collaborative problem-solving, Jeannine will help shape the organization’s strategic direction, deepen partnerships, and advance edRISK’s vision for sustainable, community-driven risk management.

Jeannine and her family reside on the South Shore of Massachusetts, along with their two rescue dogs, and are avid fans of New England sports, especially the Celtics and Patriots. Lately, she spends a great deal of time cheering on her son’s basketball team!
