Claire O'Sullivan
Executive Assistant to the President
Claire O’Sullivan is edRISK’s Executive Assistant. She manages the president’s calendar, coordinates meeting logistics, and facilitates edRISK’s and its three cells’ events.
Stephen Hannabury, Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering Executive Vice President Emeritus, tapped Claire as his Administrative Assistant. She had been working as an Olin faculty staff assistant upon accepting a retirement buyout from her former employer. Claire’s work with Steve, a founding member and the Chair of the edRISK’s Boards, led her to her dream retirement job.
Before working at Olin, Claire worked for 15 years as Harvard Business School’s Associate Director of Special Events. Her attention to detail and people skills were put to good use as she planned and executed high-profile events, such as global conferences, board of directors’ meetings, and alumni board meetings. Before Harvard Business School, Claire worked in various administrative positions at sales and service companies.
Claire, who lives south of Boston, enjoys spending time with family, traveling with her husband, and going to the movies. She’s also thoroughly enjoying her “retirement” by also supporting edRISK.
